What is Covered in the Exam?
Each GISCM® exam is based on a specific Exam Content Outline. This outline reflects the complete set of concepts, tools, and tasks required to master the skills associated with your chosen certification or certificate.
For certifications: You will be tested across a broad, end-to-end body of knowledge in supply chain management and procurement.
For certificates: Exams cover the targeted subject area to validate your focused expertise.
How Should I Prepare for My Exam?
Upon enrollment, you will receive:
- A comprehensive syllabus outlining all topics.
- Lifetime access to the full set of online study materials.
- Downloadable resources that you can keep for reference throughout your career.
Everything you need to prepare successfully is included—no additional textbooks or purchases required.
How Do I Schedule My Exam?
Flexibility is built into the GISCM® system. Once you sign up:
- You will receive your login ID and password.
- You’ll immediately gain access to the learning portal and exam materials.
- When you feel ready, you can attempt the exam at your convenience—anytime within your 180-day window after enrollment.
There are no fixed test dates or exam centers. You decide when the time is right.
What is the Format of the Exams?
Certifications: 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Certificates: 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
All questions are delivered online. Each exam includes scored questions as well as a small number of pre-test questions randomly distributed. Pre-test items do not affect your final score—they are used only for continuous improvement of exam quality.
What is the Passing Score?
GISCM® sets a minimum passing threshold to ensure that certified professionals meet global standards of knowledge and application. Exams are evaluated fairly, with emphasis on both conceptual understanding and practical application.
You’ll receive your results instantly upon completing the exam, and your digital, verifiable certificate will be issued within 48 hours if you pass.

Exam FAQs
Q1. How many exam attempts are included in my enrollment?
Each enrollment includes two attempts for free. If you need to retake after that, a 50% discounted retest fee applies.
Q2. Is the exam supervised or proctored?
No. GISCM exams are fully online and self-paced. You can take them anytime within your 180-day access period without scheduling constraints or live proctoring.
Q3. Do I need to meet eligibility before signing up?
No. You can enroll directly by signing up and paying the fee. Only a very small percentage of candidates (about 1%) may be randomly audited afterward for proof of a high school diploma or one year of supply chain experience (certifications only). Certificates have no eligibility requirements.
Q4. What kind of questions are on the exam?
All questions are Multiple Choice (MCQs). Certification exams contain 150 MCQs, while certificate exams contain 50 MCQs.
