GISCM® has developed this policy statement (“Privacy Policy”) to assist end users (referenced herein with “you” or “user” or with “your”) of GISCM’s Web site in understanding the personally identifiable terms used herein, includes information that can identify a specific individual, such as, without limitation, a name, address, phone number, or e-mail address. GISCM® reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time to address changes to its information collection, disclosure, or use practices or changes in law. If GISCM® makes changes to this Privacy Policy, GISCM® will post those changes at this location and provide notice of any material changes. Please review this Privacy Policy on a periodic basis. What Information Does GISCM® Collect?

Contact Information: GISCM® may request or require contact information, such as your name, address, phone number, facsimile number, e-mail address, and date of birth when you seek access to certain portions of the Site, register for human resource certification (or recertification) examinations (“Supply Chain Management Certification”), and/or pay for anything available for purchase on the Site (including, without limitation, examination preparation materials, accessories, and Supply Chain Management Certification applications).
Demographic Information: GISCM® may collect and compile demographic data (e.g., general employment or military information such as duration of employment or service, organization, service branch, title, rank, and position) when your seek access to certain portions of the Site.
Transactional Information: GISCM® may create and maintain a database of aggregated information about the transactions that occur on the Site (e.g., tool or feature (and related database) utilization, registration information, and activity, navigation, or content selection data).
Financial Information: GISCM® may use credit card account information to facilitate payments for anything available for purchase on the Site (including, without limitation, examination preparation materials, accessories, and HR Certification applications).
Technical Information: GISCM® may also collect Internet Protocol (IP) addresses from all users of our Site as well as the date and time of access and the Web page(s) accessed. GISCM® may also catalog your log-in information and the type of computer, browser, or operating system used by the user.
How Does GISCM® Use that Information?
To operate the Site and provide and/or enhance certain of its features, tools, and functionality and to otherwise provide and improve the quality of the programs, solutions, and services GISCM® may offer or make available, GISCM® may collect INFORMATION from different parts of its Site. GISCM® may also use your contact information to (i) facilitate registration for a particular HR Certification, event, program, or service, (ii) advertise its HR Certifications, events, programs, or services, (iii) create a personalized experience for you when using the Site, (iv) provide you with news and information, (v) contact you regarding a survey, (vi) assist with security or fraud prevention or response measures, and (vii) to get in touch with you with respect to transactions conducted through the Site, material changes in our Site’s policies and agreements, new programs, HR Certifications, events or services GISCM® may offer, or otherwise. In addition, GISCM® may (i) supplement the INFORMATION collected from you with information about you obtained from other sources, such as, without limitation, from GISCM’s advertisers, business partners, (ii) engage in cross-border transfers of INFORMATION in order to provide or enhance our ability to provide or advertise our HR Certifications, programs, events, services, or software solutions and/or the programs, events, services, or software solutions of others, and (iii) to otherwise tailor the Site. We also may share, license, and/or sell your contact information with or to third parties including, without limitation, GISCM’s agents, contractors, advertisers or business partners, to (i) provide or improve our HR Certifications, programs, events, services, or software solutions, and (ii) to allow for on-line registration for HR Certifications, programs, events, or services, the online provision of software applications, and/or for other internal business purposes.
Demographic Information: GISCM® may use demographic information for marketing, administrative, management, and monitoring purposes both in order to continue to provide or improve the Site as well as to provide or improve any software solutions, programs, Supply Chain Management Certifications, events or services GISCM® may offer. In addition, GISCM® may share, license, and/or sell survey results and aggregated demographic data collected through the Site with or to third parties, including, without limitation, its affiliates, advertisers, business partners, the general public, the news media, not only as may be required by law, but also for advertising purposes, for release to third parties, and/or to participate in government programs and initiatives. But, such survey or aggregated information will not identify any particular user.
Transactional Information: GISCM® may use transactional information for marketing, administrative, and support purposes in order to provide or improve any software solutions, programs, HR Certifications, events or services GISCM® may offer. In addition, GISCM® may also share, license, and/or sell such transactional data for such purposes on an aggregated basis (which will not identify any particular user) with or to third parties, including, without limitation, advertisers or business partners.
Financial Information: GISCM® may use credit card or online payment information to process payments anything available for purchase on the Site (including, without limitation, examination preparation materials, accessories, and HR Certification applications. But, GISCM® does not store your credit card information.
Technical Information: GISCM® may use technical information, such as your IP address or browser type, to help diagnose problems with our servers, analyze Site usage trends, track user movements on the Site, and to otherwise manage and monitor our Site.
Business Transactions: In the event that GISCM® goes through a business transaction, such as a bankruptcy event, merger, investment transaction, or acquisition by another entity involving the sale of all or a portion of its assets, please note that the INFORMATION collected and retained by GISCM® may be among the assets transferred or reviewed. In the event a transaction of this kind occurs that results in the transfer of INFORMATION to a purchaser of all or a portion of the assets or ownership interests of GISCM, GISCM® will notify you via e-mail and/or place a prominent notice on the Site for thirty (30) days of any such change in ownership or control and the possibility of changes being made to this Privacy Policy.

What About Security and Data Integrity?
As is appropriate for the nature of INFORMATION collected and stored by GISCM, the Site uses industry standard security measures or safeguards to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the INFORMATION under GISCM’s control. With respect to any stored INFORMATION, GISCM® will also use commercially reasonable efforts to preserve such INFORMATION in its original form to the extent possible and as consistent with any processing that is directed by you or necessary for GISCM® to provide the Site or its related solutions, programs, or services. What About Correcting, Deleting, or Updating Information?
At any time, you may go to the Site and access your account (using your username and password) to correct, modify, or delete the information stored in connection with your user profile. Moreover, when you cease to use GISCM’s services or no longer wish to be included in GISCM® database, you may contact GISCM® at [email protected] to request to have your information removed from the GISCM® database. In the event that GISCM® receives such a request or change, GISCM® may require you to confirm or verify any change to your record. Please note, however, that the collection and uses of certain INFORMATION is necessary to provide certain solutions or services through the Site and the deletion of such necessary information, e.g., an e-mail address, may render a particular solution or service or GISCM’s ability to provide it inoperable.
